Changes in the Optum Pro Cycling Women's Team
Optum Pro Cycling presented by Kelly Benefits Strategies today announced their teams for the 2013 season. Newcomers on the ladies side are:
Grace Alexander, an 18 year-old mountain bike and cross-country specialist from Boise, ID, who's also the 2012 silver medalist in the U-23 road racing championships.
Amber Gaffney, Claremont, CA, who spent most of 2012 riding with SC Velo-Empower Coaching squad.
Lauren Hall, of Dolores, CO, 2012 USAC Elite Track national champion in the scratch race and individual pursuit.
Beaverton, OR, rider Brianna Walle, 28, a member of the 2012 Nature Valley Pro Chase Team, top Category 2 rider in that event
These four ladies will join the powerful squad of Olympians Joelle Numainville and Denise Ramsden, 2011 Canadian champion Leah Kirchmann, Jade Wilcoxson, Courtney Lowe, Annie Ewart and 2011 NRC champion Janel Holcomb.
